Alton Ewing McConnell founded McConnell’s Catering in 1935. He started this family owned business as a bakery. His business expanded, and he began meeting all catering needs in the 50’s. McConnell’s is now owned and operated by A. E. McConnell’s sons, Charles McConnell Sr., Paul McConnell, and his grandson Phillip McConnell. McConnell’s caters to events of various sizes ranging from an average dinner party and wedding reception to feeding thousands at the Inner City fish fry and corporate events. They also cater to the Tennessee Titans as well as to various country music venues such as the CMA’s.
